Malé, Maldives — Nomination for 2020s journalism awards have been opened by Maldives Media Council (MMC).
While there are a total of 11 categories announced, two new categories have been introduced as well. These two are investigative journalism and environmental journalism.
The other 11 categories include of politics, legal, social, business and economy and sport categories as well as photojournalism, video journalism, feature/report and most promising journalist.
Those who are willing to submit nominations are to do so before 1:30pm on September 24.
The journalism awards have been conferred annually since 2014.
