Male’, Maldives- Local news outlet “Mihaaru” has revealed out that the stabbing which took place in Male’ on Wednesday night was due to a family conflict.
The incident took place due to a financial conflict within the family, which saw M.Asal, Ahmed Shamaal getting injured in the stabbing.
Shamaal was attacked by his paternal cousin and the incident is reported to have taken place in front of their house.
Police said that this case was first reported on Wednesday night at about 8:45 pm and that a 19 year old local was arrested in relation to the stabbing.
Shamaal is reportedly being treated at ADK hospital and it has been revealed that Shamaal has also undergone a surgery to treat his injuries.
