Male’, Maldives – Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has condemned the gun attacks which took place in the capital of Austria, Vienna and in Kabul University in Afghanistan yesterday.
The press statement released by the ministry stated that Minister Shahid had sent his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in a message he sent to the Foreign Minister of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg. Minister Shahid also told that the Maldivian people were with the Austrians in this difficult times and stated that Maldives always stands against such terrorist attacks.
Minister Shahid has also send his condolences to the families in the message he sent to the acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammed Haneef Atmar. Minister Shahid had requested to pass on his condolences to the families of the 22 people who lost their lives in the attack on Monday. Minister also assured that Maldivian government and people stands by with Afghanistan on its mission to bring peace and stability in the country.
