Gdh. Thinadhoo, Maldives – An individual who was kidnapped in Gdh. Thinadhoo was rescued by Maldives Police Service, earlier today, bringing in four kidnappers into Police custody in relation to the crime.
Maldives Police Service revealed that a case of kidnapping was reported to the institution around 17:00 of Wednesday and that the victim was rescued from a house in a special operation carried out, which also saw four perpetrators arrested.
Further details of the case are yet to be revealed. However, Police stated the ages of the four individuals who were arrested, being 38, 27, 45 and 52 year olds.
The matter is being further investigates by authorities.
