TTM Travel Summit 2020 launches virtually

The Travel Summit of Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) was held virtually through their TTM Connect software yesterday, with the second meeting scheduled for today which will be cast live on on Facebook and Twitter.

TTM, a product of Orca Media Group, a leading media and marketing company in the Maldives stated on their website that “TTM Travel Summit 2020 will be focused on ‘Reigniting Tourism in Maldives’ whereby travel industry professionals will discuss ways to reignite tourism in Maldives, the market trends, analysis and the basic overview of Maldivian tourism industry as a whole.”

This is the fourth edition of the summit and will be hosted by Dolores Semeraro, a multilingual hospitality speaker, certified digital marketing trainer, and coach with 15 years of experience in tourism and hospitality. The summit will see the participation of 150 resorts and 200 operators of the tourism industry.

Tourism Minister, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom will also be speaking at the summit to share the government strategies to restart tourism. He will be joined by other distinguished speakers at the event that include Secretary General of MATI Ahmed Nazeer, Indian High Commissioner to Maldives Sunjay Sudhir, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Maldives Mohammad Nazmul Hassan, and the Managing Director of MMPRC Thoyyib Mohamed.

The summit will be joined by a number of industry professionals across various aspects of tourism, such as resort managers, key members of leading OTAs, and airlines operating in the Maldives.
