When we say top notch service, we’re talking about separate WiFi for each room, tea and coffee any time – even when on the dive boat, five start linen, room service twice a day, not to mention pick up from the airport by the guesthouse manager himself!
This is just one of the company’s facilities. 3S Maldives also has a 14 bed marina front ‘3S Diver’s Home’, which offers special packages for divers, via their dive venture, Addu Dive which is a five star PADI certified dive school. Divers staying at the Diver’s Home not only get amazing lodging, but also life altering dives with the dive partner of Prince Al Waleed, Salim Rasheed as the base leader. Addu having dive spots just five to ten minutes away from each other, and a year round Manta point, and one of the oldest shipwrecks just makes the whole experience ten folds better.
The company also has an entire dive boat dedicated to providing the best dives Addu has to offer, with tea, coffee and a warm towel on stand by for every diver on the boat.
Looking at the safety of tourists, the company has it all covered from health and protection, as tourists get their room keys, of which a copy is only available to the hotel manager. Apart from this, each room is equipped with its own password protected safe, of which the password gets determined by the tourists themselves.
From a health aspect, 3S has been ensuring all protocols are being implemented as per the guidelines of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of Maldives, which includes the formulation and implementation of a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SAP), which has to be followed. All rooms are also equipped with hand sanitizers, while every tourist gets a designated table at the dining area, which will be specific to them until the end of their trip.

Staff are very helpful. Meals are delicious. The rooms are cleaned very thoroughly every day. The beach is steps away and perfect for swimming. Great snorkling also right off the beach always seeing small sharks, big and small turtles, many colorful reef fish. The swimming pool is very large and very clean. The dive shop is very professional with good equipment. The grounds are lush with flowering plants, palm threes, hammocks, etc.

WAVESOUND is truly incredible! Highly recommended. My husband and traveled to the Maldives recently to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and stayed at the Wave Sound by 3S Maldives. We were truly overwhelmed by the hospitality provided by their staff! Not only is the resort amazingly beautiful (exactly as you’d see in the pictures) but also has a great location on a private beach. Mohamed Saeed, the [operations] Manager took care of every need we had extremely effectively. The staff is very friendly, courteous and super helpful. Rooms and the surroundings are sparklingly clean (they provide housekeeping services twice a day!) And the food is simply out of this world, which includes a free buffet breakfast. Since it was our anniversary, they had taken special care to decorate our room and also set up an amazing dinner by the beach. I can assure you that you will be getting 5-star treatment here at a tiny fraction of the prices of luxury hotels. I would strongly recommend this place to everyone.

The amazing service and incredible scenery aside, the 3S Maldives company has also been an active part of the local community, providing relevant and much needed CSR efforts whenever necessary. Some of the activities carried out by the company include the set up and maintenance of the ‘Rashikeda Beach’ in Maradhoo Feydhoo, which is always available for locals to use, as well as the contribution to the education sector of the city, by providing opportunities to students from various vocations to take on apprenticeship roles in the hospitality industry. Apart from this, free Dive Master courses are also being carried out by the Addu Dive venture of the company, for local youth interested in the field, enriching the community with much needed knowledge and skills to promote the hospitality industry of the city further.
