Male’, Maldives – Speaker of the Parliament of Maldives Mohamed Nasheed said that the nation would be faced with a huge loss, if the schools closed due to Covid-19 were not reopened soon.

Speaking at today’s Parliament sitting, Nasheed said that most schools are currently conducting classes online for lower grades and that this had to come to an end as soon as possible as to resume the studies in the normal situation without social distancing.
