JUST IN: Biden Sworn In as 46th President of USA

Washington DC, USA –Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was sworn in as the the 46th president of the United States of America minutes earlier, taking office at a moment of profound economic, health and civil crises.

President Biden is pragmatic in his inaugural speech addressing existing concerns of division and sharing messages of hope. These resonated with his messages from the campaign trail which lead him to win against President Trump.

Mr. Trump did not attend the ceremony, while Former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama were in attendance.

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts swore in Biden (78) into office.

In the same ceremony, Kamala Devi Harris has made history as the first black, South Asian and woman vice president of the United States.
