Mohamed Faisal appointed as the new Director at the Executive Board of ACC

Male’, Maldives –The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has appointed the President of Cricket Board of Maldives, Mohamed Faisal as the new Executive Board of Director.

Faisal was appointed to the position with the approval of all the members who were present in the virtual meeting that was held in the daily meeting of ACC.

While Faisal had previously held the position of the Vice President of the Cricket Board and the General Secretary after which he was appointed as the President of the Cricket Board on September 2020.

Faisal has planned several events to take the Cricket sports to a new level in the island nation. Some of these include of providing more opportunities for cricket to all the citizens nationwide. This is why, having a higher position in the country is a great benefit Faisal receives in creating raising the Cricket sector.

The former President of Cricket Board, Mohamed Aflaah is currently completing his second year as a Asian Associate Member in the members board of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Aflaah has also made several efforts in providing opportunities nationwide.
