Addu City, Maldives – Addu Flu Clinic has been shifted back to the former Hithadhoo Regional Hospital building, in order to make Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) safer during the current Covid-19 outbreak in the city.
According to the hospital, the Flu Clinic will be open from 09:00 to 00:00 everyday, with two breaks from 12:00 to 13:00 and 18:00 to 19:00.
Authorities urge anyone with Covid-19 like symptoms, such as fever, headache, cough, to immediately contact local Social Service Desks (SSDs) or health centers and hospitals prior to going for medical assistance.

Currently there are seven cases in connection to the cluster discovered in Hithadhoo on Saturday, with one case recorded in Thinadhoo. With this, Addu City has been placed under monitoring, barring unauthorized travel in and out of the city. Internal travel has also been restricted to a need only basis as authorities work on contact tracing and testing more individuals.
