Male’, Maldives – Former Acting Manager of Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL), Moosa Solih, has been appointed as a consultant of the Regional Airports Company (RAC).
[Solih] will work as a consulted on a day-to-day basis. This is a very important position for the company.
Mohamed Rizvee, Board Director
Moosa Solih, who is also the uncle of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, is an expert in the Aviation industry. After spending 39 years with MACL, he had retired last July. Moosa Solih had temporarily managed MACL on November 15, 2018, when the previous Managing Director Adil Moosa retired from his position.
The Regional Airports Company created under executive order of the President on 30 September 2020 is a 100 percent state-owned company, created for the purpose of developing and sustaining projects of the regional airports in the nation in a business manner.
The company’s Board of Directors include former Island Aviation Managing Director, Mohamed Rizvee, the company Chairman Abdul Latheef Gasim, Mohamed Firuzul Hussain Firaaz, Mohamed Shafaau Hassan, Hussain Shaamin and Abdullah Waheed.
