MP Shareef said that the police are neglecting the crime and that it would be better if a committee of the parliament reviewed it. The police has previously said that they have found no evidence pointing to any suspects.

This proves that the concerned authorities are negligent, and that sexual harassment such as rape against women, are not taken seriously.
