BREAKING: Maldives records 72nd Covid-19 death

Malé, Maldives – The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has informed that an 85 year old woman, being treated at DH11 had passed away at 13:13 due to Covid-19.

With the passing away of the 85 year old woman, the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country has risen to 72. 

Since the country recorded its first case of Covid-19, Maldives has reported 72 deaths in connection to Covid-19. The deceased are 65 Maldivian nationals, 6 Bangladeshi nationals and a Filipino national.

HPA had earlier revealed that the total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in the country has reached 28,588 out of which 24,499 patients have made full recoveries, as of 18:00 of April 27, 2021.
