Malé, Maldives – Maldives Artist Community (MAC) has publicly announced applications for artists who are interested in taking part in their annual art exhibition, ‘Unveiling Visions – 2021’.
The organisers will select 80 artworks from the applicants based on the artist’s profile and previous artworks. The categories for this year’s exhibition include:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Digital art
- Sculpture
- Installation
- Calligraphy
- Mix media
Artists can take part in any of the above mentioned categories. MAC noted that only artists above 15 years of age are eligible for the exhibition. Interested artists must apply via this google form.
‘Unveiling Visions’ is the most hyped annual art exhibition in Maldives and displays remarkable artworks each year since its inception in 2017. The 5th exhibition is to be held this year. 70 artists schowcased their artworks at last year’s exhibition which was considered the most extensive exhibition since the pandemic started.
