Czech Republic handed Scotland a defeat in their first game in Euro since 1998.
A battle of Group D ended in favor of Czech, thanks to a brace by Patrick Schick. A first half header and an early second half stunner by Schick gave Czech all the points they needed.
Scotland were playing well before the opening goal, a 30 yard screamer by captain Andy Robertson was saved by the Czech Republic goalkeeper using his fingertips.
However, in the 42nd minute of the game Schick scored a header to give Czech a deserving lead as they were the dominant side.
Eight minutes into the second half, breaking a heavy counter by the Scots, Schick scored a stunner close from the half line while the keeper was way out of the position. Keeper had no choice but to go into the net with the ball.
Up next in the Euro 2020 is a Group E match between Poland and Slovakia. The last match of the night will be Spain vs Sweden, the remaining two teams of this group.
