Male’, Maldives – Commissioner of Maldives Police Service, Mohamed Hameed revealed this Wednesday, that they have submitted the investigation on the first four accused individuals of the terror attack against Speaker Mohamed Nasheed on May 06 to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Commissioner Hameed stated that with the investigation, they even submitted evidential documents and materials to prosecute the first four suspects linked to the attack.
The investigation of this major case will continue with great focus and continued support from our international partners.

Meanwhile, PG Shameem informed that he will be having a joint press conference with the Police on Saturday to obtain more details regarding the investigation. He stated that the investigation will continue for the other suspects as well.
According to the law, the PG Office has 15 days to decide on prosecution for these individuals.
