Malé, Maldives – ADK Hospital on Monday confirmed that Malé City’s Women’s Development Committee member Aminath Eman is on ventilator support following a dangerous accident yesterday.
ADK Hospital stated that Eman has not been declared dead and is still being treated amid media reports that she has passed away.
While doctors had initially given up hope, the patient has shown signs of progress and is now receiving treatment.
Malé City Council said earlier that Eman has received major injuries to the head with internal bleeding.
Police confirm that a woman was injured in a road accident at 16:25 on Sunday. The accident occurred after a motorcycle slid over an unpainted speed breaker on Kuredhima Hingun, Hulhumalé.
