Malé, Maldives – The National Airline Maldivian has suspended flights to Sri Lanka indefinitely after the initial hiatus in March 2022.
While flights were to resume in May 2022, the airline announced today that flights are now suspended indefinitely due to the deteriorating conditions in Sri Lanka.
Maldivian stated that the airline will announce any changes after monitoring changes in the market and the Sri Lankan situation.
The national airline initially stopped flights to Sri Lanka in March 2022 due to the lack of demand.
