Deadline extended for Chief Magistrate positions of six islands

Malé, Maldives – Judiciary Services Commission on Wednesday extended the deadline for Chief Magistrate positions of six islands.

While the previously job application deadline was set on Tuesday, July 5, JSC extended the deadline to 21 July 2022.

JSC is seeking Chief Magistates for the Magistrate Courts of HA. Dhidhoo, Sh. Funadhoo, Sh. Komandhoo, B. Dharavandhoo, F. Feeali and GDh. Faresmaathodaa. Job application is also open for a magistrate position at Dh. Kudahuvadhoo.

Chief Magistrates are paid a basic salary of MVR 21,000 while magistrates earn MVR 18,850. MVR 4,000 in living allowance and MVR 600 as risk allowance is paid to both levels.

Requirements for the job include a diploma in Shariah and law and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a magistrate, lawyer or legal position at a court.
