Male’, Maldives – President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Wednesday accredited Aishath Shaan Shakir to serve as the new Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Federal Republic of Germany
The President also appointed Ahmed Shiaan as the new Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The accreditation ceremony took place at the President’s Office this morning.
The new Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Federal Republic of Germany, Aishath Shaan Shakir previously served as the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has also held other senior positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the Joint Secretary of the Foreign Ministry and served as the Maldivian Ambassador to Bangladesh.
The newly appointed Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Shiaan last served as the Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
