Malé, Maldives – President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Friday denied the allegations of adultery levelled at him by Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed.

Spokesperson of the President’s Office Mabrook Azeez stated last night that President Solih assures Nasheed’s allegations are baseless.

President addressed this following media coverage of a leaked WhatsApp group conversation of ruling party MDP, with the Speaker alleging that he had received photographs of President Solih having sexual relations.
