Malé, Maldives – Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Mohamed Mabrook Azeez has resigned from his post today.
According to media reports, Mabrook sent in his resignation to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih while on holiday in his wife’s country, Thailand.
Although the reason for his resignation is not clear, Presidents Office is yet to comment on the matter.
Mabrook was appointed to the position on January 1, 2022. He served as an undersecretary of the Presidents Office before his appointment as the spokesperson at Deputy Minister level.
