Malé, Maldives – Maldives’ Ambassador to Germany, Aishath Shaan Shakir has been approved as the non-resident Ambassador to six additional countries by the Maldivian Parliament.
The approval was confirmed by all 49 attending members present at the Parliamentary floor at the time of the vote. With this, Ambassador Shaan will now work in the capacity of non-resident Ambassador to Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Ukraine.
Shaan was appointed as the Ambassador to Germany on 20th July, and presented her credentials to the President of Germany on 22nd August.
