Uligan, Maldives – A nine-year old child has died after a goal post fell on him while playing football in HA. Uligan.
Police said a report was received at 5:50 pm yesterday that a goal post had fallen on the boys head while playing at the Uligan futsal stadium.
Witnesses told local media that the goal post fell on the boys head resulting in heavy bleeding from his nose and mouth.
The 9-year-old boy died while being treated at the Uligan Health Centre, police said.
