A man has been arrested fron Gan, Addu City for possession of illegal drugs during a joint operation by Gan police station and police intelligence.
Police acted on a tip received by their intelligence regarding a man being in possession of drugs in Gan. The 37 year old man was apprehended at approximately 16:45 at Gan International Airport terminal. During the search, police discovered a a film tin and a packet of drugs containing a substance believed to be illegal drugs.
The case is being further investigated by Gan police station.
