Since the two recoveries announced by the country on Friday, Maldives has announced another recovery from the rapidly spreading coronavirus yesterday.
This was announced on a press conference held at Dharubaaruge, by Dr. Moosa Murad, who also revealed that the recovered patient had initially tested positive in Kuredu Island Resort and was later transferred to the Velidhoo isolation facility.
As per protocol, the patient was tested twice for the virus and upon a double negative result, was declared recovered. However, authorities will continue to monitor the health of the patient despite the recovery.
