Two more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the Maldives, authorities reported on Saturday.
In a news conference held in Male’, Dr. Moosa Siraj announced the double negative results. With this, a total of 11 out of 16 patients from the Maldives have recovered in the country, leaving three more in recovery as two patients had left the country prior to the test results coming back.
It was also highlighted that all three patients are doing well, despite having have tested positive for the virus.
Maldives has been taking strict measures to ensure that the virus does not start spreading in the country, including shutting down schools, and closing down government offices as well as stopping the issuing of on arrival visa.
