Addu City, Maldives – Addu City Council has decided to allocate 300 land plots for housing in Hithadhoo, Addu City.
The decision was made in the council sitting held on Tuesday morning, following the matter being proposed to the council by Deputy Mayor Mohamed Yasrif. Yasrif proposed the allocation of lands which have been vacant for various reasons to be given out as housing plots.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to allocate 300 land plots, each of 1,500 square feet as housing plots from Hithadhoo.
Further, it was also decided to allocate 500 land plots from Feydhoo as housing lands, after councilor to Feydhoo constituency, Hassan Fahumy put the matter forward.
The plots from Feydhoo will be allocated from the newly reclaimed area.
