Bid open for Addu City, Maradhoo Fish Market construction

Addu City, Maldives – Addu City Council has announced bid opening for the construction of Maradhoo fish market.

The bid document will be available from 26 to 29 April 2021 from the Addu City Council office. Only entities registered with the Maldives Ministry of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure will be eligible to submit bid documents.

Bidding parties are to pay a registry fee of MVR 300 and bid security fee of MVR 1500.

The information session will be held at the city council office on 2 May 2021 and bid submission is open until 6 May 2021.

The Finance Ministry has provided a total of MVR 3,900,000 as the budget for the Addu City Maradhoo Fish Market.

The agreement to handover the project for Construction of Maradhoo Fish Market was signed on 28 March 2021 during a virtual meeting where the Mayor of Addu City, Abdullah Sodiq signed the agreement on behalf of the City Council and the CEO of LGA, Afshan Latheef signed on behalf of the authority.
