Addu City, Maldives – Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) reveals that over a hundred active cases have been recorded in Addu City, Feydhoo district.
The statistics released by AEH shows that 8 cases were recorded in Feydhoo of the total 18 daily new cases in Addu atoll. With the additional 18 cases confirmed yesterday, the total number of active cases in Addu City has risen to 210.
At present, the highest number of active cases are in Feydhoo with 107 cases, followed by Hithadhoo with 60 active Covid-19 cases and Hithadhoo with 56 cases, while Maradhoofeydhoo has 5 cases and Gan has one active case.
Maradhoo has recovered significantly with cases dropping to 37.
There are no active cases in the remaining two islands in Addu City, Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo which are still under monitoring mechanisms since 4 September 2021.
