Malé, Maldives – Police have confirmed that a student has been sexually abused at a school in the capital city Malé.
Police are currently investigating the case with no arrests made yet.
While police have revealed no further information regarding the case, local news reports that the victim is a girl child of preschool age, under 5 years of age.
Yesterday, police confirmed that they were investigating a sexual abuse case of an 11 year old. A 37 year old Maldivian male was arrested in relation to the crime.
