Kulhudhuffushi, Maldives – A person who passed away in Kulhudhuffushi has tested positive for Covid-19.
It has been reported that the individual who passed away was 58 years of age, and came to Kulhudhuffushi from HA. Kelaa, to seek medical treatment.
Since the person traveled to Male’ recently and due to the quarantine period of 14 days not being over, the person was placed in the Kulhudhuffushi quarantine facility throughout the duration of his treatment. The person is also reported to be taking medications for long term illnesses.
Currently there are 25 islands and 23 resorts with active cases of Covid-19.
