Covid-19: 3 random samples test positive in Fuvahmulah

Fuvahmulah City, Maldives — Fuvahmulah Emergency Operations Center (FEOC) has revealed that three random samples tested positive for Covid-19 in Fuvahmulah yesterday.

The latest Covid-19 updates from Fuvahmulah shows that over the past 24 hours, eight people tested positive for Covid-19. They are five contacts of positive cases and three random samples.

Two of the people who tested positive are foreigners while the remaining six people are from the Maldives.

With these eight cases, the total active cases has risen upto 155 in Fuvahmulah. Strict protective measures and curfew from 1600hrs to 0400hrs is placed in the island due to the worsening Covid-19 situation.

FEOC also informed that 15 people made complete recoveries in the island over the past 24 hours.
